ICSOBA, the International Committee for the study of Bauxite, Alumina and Aluminium, stimulates, promotes and encourages scientific and technological investigations and industrial development in the field of bauxite, alumina and aluminium production, from primary and secondary sources, and fabrication including environmental aspects of the industry and promotes transfer and exchange of technologies. To this end ICSOBA organizes Symposia, Congresses and Seminars, brings out periodic issues of TRAVAUX of ICSOBA and publishes newsletters, including statistics and technical articles.
The 18th International Symposium ICSOBA-2010 was held November 24-28, 2010 in Zhengzhou, China.
